    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Controls Engineering Knowledge - Applies the application of controls hardware and software by specifying, reviewing, and approving company-owned and/or supplier designs for new or upgrades to existing equipment to interface with all levels of manufacturing systems.

    Controls Networking - Implements new and improved technologies and methods capable of transferring information from multiple inputs either within a local production process or into databases to link machines together or to analyze the process for overall operation enhancements.

    Controls Safety - Recognizes controls related hazards in a manufacturing environment (Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic) to incorporate safe practices and procedures as part of the daily work plan to reduce injuries and create a safe machine environment.

    Controls System Security - Develops and implements Controls System Security by specifying, reviewing, and approving company-owned and/or supplier designs for new equipment or upgrades to existing equipment to ensure our manufacturing controls and systems are secure.

    Electrical System Troubleshooting - Analyzes an electrical control system to resolve and repair electrical issues to return the system to proper operating conditions.

    Factory Automation and Control Systems - Implements changes to further automate manufacturing processes using available technology, programming techniques, and identifying needed material and resources for project completion to provide the optimum automation for the manufacturing environment.

    Sensor Technology and Measurement - Selects and applies the sensor technology, performing measurements in the acquired data that leads to the correct analysis and conclusion to help differentiate products that meet quality standards from non-conforming products.

    Values differences - Recognizing the value that different perspectives and cultures bring to an organization.

    Machine Programming - Creates factory floor machine programs by designing and implementing solutions to improve usage of machine and overall operation.

    Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.

    Education, Licenses, Certifications:

    College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required.

    This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

    Experience:

    Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Job Description -

    Identifies and implements digital design manufacturing solutions using data, models and simulations. Leads, co-leads, or advises manufacturing teams. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of manufacturing knowledge for the application of digital tools.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Leads the work for specifical projects in the use of digital technology as it applies to manufacturing.

    • Leads by applying the knowledge of data, models, and simulations to virtually analyze manufacturing systems to reduce risks and timing for specific projects.

    • Applies the use of prognostics in the applications of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and product quality for specific projects.

    • Integrates the impact of digital manufacturing technology as it applies to specific manufacturing solutions for a safe environment while balancing cost, quality, and delivery.

    • Develops and leads projects. Coaches manufacturing personnel.

    • Develops and implements resolutions to systemic manufacturing problems for specific projects.Leads the communications with and influences key external stakeholders, business leaders, and functional members.

    • Works with internal and external resources on specific project assignments.

    • Provide Primarily level 2 and level 3 support that includes -

    • Support Asia & Europe manufacturing sites - for deployment and sustenance of new CMES systems

    • Understand and know the process very well to be able to consult on it.

    • Work with business users and suggest work around in case there are any CMES issues.

    • Provide consulting to plants on how to manage downtime.

    • Execute functional testing for CMES and trainings.

    • Supporting High-value/low-value OR high/low proliferation.

    Primary Skill sets -

    • Industrial Engg. background (50%)

    • Controls Engg. background (30%)

    • IT background (20%)

    Secondary Skill sets-

    • Additional advantage to have skills on Functional and IT.

    • MES Downtime management etc.

    • Communication of control system with third party application OPC

    • Awareness of MQTT communication protocol

    Tools Expertise -

    • Automation - PLC - controls - Siemens/Rockwell software - Must

    • Java/PL/SQL queries are executed. - Must

    • Apriso - Must

    • Discrete Event Simulation - Delmia 3D Experience - Good to have.

    • Any other 3D Factory Simulations tools like Flex/Plant Simulation

    Education : Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering preferred

    Experience: 5 to10+yrs

    Work Location - IOC, Pune

    Working Hours - 40/week
