We are looking for a talented Distributor Guidanz Solution Manager to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Distribution Business Segment hybrid out of one of our regional locations.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Cross-functional expertise and content authority for the Program Backlog.
- Responsible for identifying customer needs and product market trends, prioritizing features, guiding the work through the Program Kanban in support of business agility and developing the program Vision and Roadmap for multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
- Champions program budget, release strategy, releasability of all elements of the solution, and maximizing the value of the products resulting from the work of multiple product/agile teams or from the product/agile https://portfolio.Works with customers (as well as Product Owners) to continuously understand and communicate their needs and participate in the validation of the proposed solutions; represents the voice of the customer; entrepreneur for products; expert on the archetypical users of products; Articulates and prioritizes personas and their problems so that appropriate products or solutions can be built.
- Works with Epic Owners to develop the Lean business case for Epics that affect multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
- Expert on how strategic themes influence the strategic direction of multiple program portfolios; leads the direction provided by the Portfolio Canvas, Lean Budgets, and Guardrails.
- Works with portfolio stakeholders, customers, ARTs and Solution Trains to understand needs and build and prioritize the solution backlog; accountable for effective product backlog management; defines and explicitly communicates the Solution goals; creates, orders, and clearly communicates Solution/ Product Categories Backlog items apart from ensuring that the solution backlog is transparent, visible, and understood.
- Works with System and Solution Architecture/Engineering to understand Enabler work and assist with decision-making and sequencing of technological infrastructures.
- Collaborates with Solution Management through participation in solution backlog refinement and prioritization as well as splitting Capabilities into Features, and Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), as needed.
- Provides cross-functional expertise in Pre- and Post-Program Increment (PI) Planning to define inputs, quality checks, and high-level objectives as well and then summarize findings into an agreed-to set of solution PI objectives.
- Collaborates with Release Management on progress, budget, release strategy, and releasability of the elements of the solution.
- Participates in the Operating budget process. Helps determine service delivery charges and determines forecast of needs.
- Strong understanding and works in line with the organization's mission, operations, structure, and goals; understands informal structures and processes of the organization; understands organization-level implications of his or her day-to-day decisions.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required. SAFe® Product Owner/Agile Product Manager (POPM) or SAFe® Agile Product and Solution Management certifications are preferred.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
- Significant business knowledge with experience managing multiple solutions and knowledge and practical experience of the Lean methodology, principles and tools are preferred.
- Experience working with Technology based solutions and products is required.
- Experience working in an Agile Environment is required.
- Experience working as a Product Manager is required.
- Serves as the connecting point between the platform experts/developers and the global business process experts.
- Identifies misalignments between the platform capabilities and business processes for the business process owner to resolve.
- Coordinates with and enables the change manager for necessary communication and training efforts.
- Leads prioritization and management of the backlog and new feature requests from DBU stakeholders.
- Develops, documents, and clarifies global business requirements as necessary.
- Experience with Salesforce preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range is $112,000 - $168,000. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after taking into account relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
