    Position summary

    ssues and extend the life of engine components.

    • Problem Escalation: Escalating unresolved issues to more experienced technicians ensures that complex problems are addressed effectively.

    • Accurate Documentation: Completing necessary documentation accurately will support warranty claims, quality control, and service records.

    • Service Opportunities: Identifying additional service opportunities will help in providing comprehensive solutions to customers and potentially increase business.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    • Compliance and Safety: Adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, using appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment.

    • Customer Service Skills: Ability to handle customer interactions professionally, including receiving parts calls, assisting walk-in customers, and processing transactions accurately.

    • Technical Proficiency: Competence in using various systems, catalogs, and tools to identify and procure parts efficiently, as well as diagnosing and repairing engine systems.

    • Problem-Solving Abilities: Skill in troubleshooting issues, interpreting system interactions, and performing repairs and maintenance to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education/ Experience

    • Apprentice Certified Power Generation or Engine Technician (Preferred)

    • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution

    • Current relevant electrical certification (optional)

    • Locally valid driving permit

    • Basic level field service work experience

    • High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience (optional)

    • Customer service experience
