Leads processes to determine discipline positions on strategic environmental and business priorities and leads and internal and external stakeholder engagement. Manages, develops, and implements programs composed of multiple cross functional projects. Partners with key business stakeholders to ensure a successful project completion. Manages the design, development and implementation of tools and processes which facilitates the achievement of functional excellence. Partners with discipline leadership to identify process gaps, and develops improvement plans. Coordinates and monitors the execution of the improvement projects for a given area.
Designs, develops, and applies strategic frameworks to analyze identifying strategic opportunities, challenges, risk, threats, and develop solutions; synthesizes environmental data, stakeholder input, and trends necessary to develop insightful recommendations and policy solutions to support strategic business decisions.
Communicates complex strategy topics clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences through both written and oral communication; develops unified messages and related communication materials.
Maintains Environmental customer relationships by effectively leading multiple strategic projects with internal and external partners, such as peers in other units, staff groups, senior management and outside stakeholders, to accomplish organizational goals and to identify opportunities and resolve problems.
Works with the business to understand its goals and objectives to ensure that environmental policy and strategic planning activities are aligned to the business; identifies risk to the enterprise from environmental issues.
Documents common aspects of key functional processes and works to ensure that processes, tools, and people associated with these processes are available and capable.
Leads multiple cross-functional projects that may comprise a program from inception to completion; facilitate project planning sessions with internal stakeholders to determine the scope and objectives of each project; work with business stakeholders to establish project performance goals; design project plan, develop timeline, identify project milestones, and track performance against performance goals and timeline.
Plans and monitors project budget, conduct research and analysis; provide input into the design and development of project plans and timelines.
Manages project risk; use quality tools to identify areas of risk; identify alternatives or solutions; apply motivational techniques to broad-based organization change issues.
Leverages experience of cross-functional resources and resources external to the project team; document and share team learnings with other teams; draw on other project team experiences to enhance the success of the project.
