Hydrogen Sourcing Analyst

In Accelera, Cummins is developing innovative Electrolyzer and Fuel Cell technologies that can generate hydrogen and power for various applications with zero emissions - contributing to a safe and healthy environment for future generations.

We have a diverse team of engineers dedicated to the development of existing and future products for customers on a global scale. We are currently looking for a Sourcing Analyst to join our global team. The role will report to the Hydrogen Sourcing Manager.

Your tasks

• Provides support for sourcing Alkaline Electrolyser stack components
• Provides support for sourcing PEM Electrolyser and PEM Fuel Cell stack components.
• Ensures supply continuity by closely collaborating with Purchasing to keep track of the demand and supply, and to initiate material order when needed.
• Ensures adherence to the terms of the existing contracts with suppliers.
• Conducts complex analysis of markets, supply chains, and supply base; applies analysis to sourcing process improvement initiatives.
• Identifies qualified suppliers and executes sound source selection processes.
• Has regular interface with suppliers within area of responsibility and maintains the supplier relationship. Understands how key purchasing principles are used toward assuring supply.
• Sources specialized items and executes complex sourcing strategies in accordance with agreed upon sourcing strategy / plans at the optimum cost, quality and relationship.
• Independently carries out sourcing activities with full consideration for the impact of those activities on the end-to-end supply chain.

Your profile

• College, university, or equivalent degree in field appropriate for the function required. Supply Chain/Industrial Engineering or similar, preferred).
• Intermediate level of related work experience required
