    Position summary

    ng approved tools and frameworks.

    • Maintain and update system documentation in JIRA and C&I , manage change requests , and ensure required approvals (Legal, GCCB) are obtained before deployment.

    • Deliver solution design and configuration adhering to Cummins standards, leveraging reusable components to improve delivery efficiency and consistency.

    • Support and guide technical and infrastructure teams to ensure developed solutions meet business, performance, scalability, and security requirements.

    • Participate in design and code reviews , ensuring adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and maintainability principles.

    • Assist in defining and executing testing strategies , including validation and integration testing, to confirm functional and technical accuracy.

    • Provide Level 3 support for critical incidents and problem resolution across supported systems.

    • Contribute to continuous improvement by optimizing work processes, adopting automation, and ensuring reusability of technical components.

    • Actively collaborate in Agile development cycles within the HR Technical Powercell, ensuring continuous value delivery.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

    Education, Licenses, Certifications

    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business , or a related field.

    • May require additional licensing for compliance with export control or sanctions regulations.

    Core Technical Skills

    • Programming Languages: VBCS, SQL, PL/SQL, Fast Formula

    • Tools & Technologies: BI Publisher, APIs, Notifications, AI Agents

    • Platforms: JIRA, ClearCase

    • Development Practices: Agile, change management, documentation and approval workflows

    Nice-to-Have Skills

    • Experience with custom HR applications and HR data models.

    • Familiarity with Cummins IT processes and governance frameworks.

    • Exposure to automation tools and DevOps practices.

    Experience

    • 3-5 years of relevant technical experience in application or infrastructure engineering.

    • Proven experience in system integration, solution design, and report development using Oracle or similar platforms.

    • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting , technical documentation , and cross-functional collaboration in global enterprise environments.
