    • Holistic Design Reviews: Lead negotiations with technical experts and senior designers of vendors, customers and internal stake holders to present comprehensive design review packages for project solutions.

    • Design Decision Making: Guide vendors and customs in the selection, optimization, and specification of design concepts that meet customer and corporate requirements.

    • Process and Tool Execution: IQD and IQA process for GENSET system validation.

    • Work Process Improvement: Develop and enhance work processes and systems within your functional discipline to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

    • Mentorship and Knowledge Transfer: Coordinate work among technicians and students, and mentor less experienced engineers to build a strong, knowledgeable team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    • Strong Communication Skills: High-level proficiency in written and spoken English. Effectively interact with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, especially in conflict situations, to ensure clear and precise communication of technical requirements and project progress.

    • Mechanical Design Expertise: Create detailed mechanical design specifications, including solid models, engineering BOMs, and drawings that meet national, international, industry, and Cummins standards.

    • Technical Sales Support Expertise:

    • Support the Cummins sales team for Project enquiries / Technical requirement on Cummins Product by reviewing technical specification and offer documents to determine and clarify the project scope of supply.

    • System Requirements Engineering: Translate stakeholder needs into verifiable requirements, establish acceptance criteria, and manage the impact of changes throughout the system lifecycle.

    • Leadership and Coordination: Lead junior design engineers, coordinate with customers and vendors to prepare project drawings, and ensure all designs meet technical specifications and standards.

    • Good negotiation skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate technical scope and deviations based on applications.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education/ Experience:

    • College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering Post-graduate (Master's) degree relevant to this discipline area is preferred

    • Knowledge of MS Office.

    • Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.

    • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
