    Education, Licenses, Certifications

    • College, university, or equivalent degree required, or equivalent experience required.
    • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

    Experience

    • Supervisory experience preferred
    • This role will manage a team of 12-18 hourly union employees for a machining operation at Seymour Engine Plant (SEP).
    • This role will have the responsibility to manage and develop a Continuous Improvement Leader (CIL) and work on a cross functional team with Quality and Machining Engineers.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel along with experience in machining environment is preferred.
    • Must have a very strong work ethic
    • Development is a very big part of this role-bring change of culture
    • Must be comfortable directing the team on their day to day activities- must be able to be direct and also understand how to communicate.
    • Must be able to speak in front of others and conduct presentations
    • Must be assertive and be able to have difficult and uncomfortable conversations.

    Compensation and Benefits

    Base salary rate commensurate with experience, range: $56,000-84,00.00. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
