We are looking for an experienced Workshop Facility Maintenance Coordinator based at our Laverton facility, supporting our Pakenham and Campbellfield branches for facility projects**.** This role will primarily see you managing all maintenance related to the Laverton Workshop facility, with a strong focus on HSE compliance and stakeholder management. 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Perform routine building maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures 
  • Assist in a wide variety of maintenance activities; addresses immediate operational and/or safety concerns; and ensures that tools, materials and vehicles are maintained in good working order including calibration of tooling at regular intervals
  • Maintains housekeeping and safety in work areas, evaluating reactive work for safety issues, planning projects so that safety is key, and reviewing preventative work for any unforeseen items that may present safety hurdles
  • Provide direction, advice and maintenance for specialist equipment required for supporting staff with disabilities to safely perform their roles
  • Utilizes software (Indy Soft) to track, assign, and prioritize reactive, planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance work and building management system
  • Act as the go to point for stakeholders at all levels within the branch for all maintenance facilities queries from major structural projects down to HSE consumables
  • Be a key stakeholder in the planning and execution of major facility upgrades across Laverton, Pakenham and Campbellfield.
  • Organise maintenance for onsite vehicles and equipment such as forklift / scissor lift

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

  • Have a strong safety orientation and a passion for HSE with a good understanding of safe Work Health & Safety practices

  • Be highly organised, able to prioritise, plan and execute maintenance plans and projects

  • Possess strong attention to detail

  • Have strong communication skills with an ability for working collaboratively.

  • Be action orientated with a sense of urgency in order to provide fast and efficient service for maintenance requests 

  • Some HSE experience or certification would be highly regarded

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly rate commensurate with skills, experience and potential. Some minor overtime available, particularly during any major facility projects. Participation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) program. Salary continuance insurance.  Discounts with select private health insurance, PC software/hardware and a range of vehicles.
