    We are looking for a talented Market Insights Manager to join our team specializing in Strategic Marketing for our New Energy Division in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    • Manages the development of market intelligence through the design, development, and delivery of information, reports, and projects that improve internal knowledge and accurately inform decision making.
    • Partners with segment teams on developing strategies and forming decisions that impact business performance.
    • Develops and deploys effective methods to monitor relevant market trends, competitive threats, and other market activity.
    • Generates informed, unbiased and credible market intelligence that furthers market understanding and supports decision making.
    • Aligns with business teams and acts as a thought partner in support of leadership’s decision-making processes.
    • Manages special projects and provides market input to further the understanding of specific aspects of the market to support informed decision making and strategy development.
    • Leverages competitive research and market analyses for ad hoc requests from assigned market segments and regions.
    • Leads efforts to understand market drivers and historical behaviors to build segment-specific forecasts in support of the strategic-planning process and other key initiatives.
    • Develops and leverages internal and external knowledge networks to build a comprehensive view of the market (e.g. vendors, trade shows, conferences, industry events).
    • Champions a culture of intelligence gathering, insight generation and value-added support
    • May manage a small team of Market Insights analysts who are responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, generating forecasts, writing reports and leading/supporting various projects.

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    • 5-7 years in strategy, business, marketing, or market research
    • Market intelligence experience highly preferred
    • Business knowledge preferred
    • 3 plus years of experience in power generation and energy management markets (including industry dynamics, competitive situation, and emerging trends)
    • 2 plus years of experience in market, competitive, or customer research and analysis

    Compensation and Benefits

    Base salary rate commensurate with experience, range: $97,600-$146,400. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
