We are looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer - Customer Solutions to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Accelera Business in Mississauga, ON / your remote home office.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Leads the mechanical design of Customer Solutions Engineering projects for a specific electrolyzer product. Obtains input and negotiates with Subject Matter Experts and Value Package Introduction (VPI) Teams and delivers product data and installation requirements to Application Engineers and OEMs
  • Manages the mechanical aspects of customer requirements and deliverables and serves as the senior technical liaison between OEMs and represents our customers during new product development programs.
  • Proposes, defines, and implements mechanical solutions to bridge the gap between standard product and customer/project/site specific requirements.
  • Outsources modeling and drafting tasks to the CAD team.
  • Ensures consistent quality and timely completion of project deliverables and supports customer communication and product training.
  • Interfaces with the Application Engineer and Customer Solutions Engineering Manager and reports to the Lead Integration Engineer Customer Solutions

Education/ Experience

  • College, university, or equivalent bachelor's degree in mechanical or Structural engineering or appropriate STEM field is required. Post-graduate (Master's) degree relevant to this discipline is an asset.
  • 5 years of experience in a Senior or Lead Engineer position or similar position in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.
  • EPC background, preferably in Hydrogen, Oxygen service, Oil & Gas, Offshore equipment
  • Able to outsource design tasks to a global team of engineers located in India, Canada, Belgium
  • Experience with structural design of static industrial installations, skid-based machinery, and piping design
  • Familiarity with mechanical design of high voltage / high current electrical systems is a bonus.
