RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Development of electro-mechanical system (Electrical, Thermal and Mechanical) for electric drive units.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electric motors, power electronics, control, and software).
Create innovative electric powertrain solutions for commercial vehicles, including buses and trucks.
Serve as the local electro-mechanical expert for electric machines and electric drive unit
Help to develop software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop test benches for power electronics, electric motors, and controls systems to enhance product validation and testing processes.
Exhibit theoretical expertise and practical experience in developing models for advanced e-machine topologies intended for traction applications.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Studying towards Electrical, Mechanical, or control engineering with experience in Electrical Motor Design, including expertise in electromagnetics, mechanical systems, and thermal management.
Proficiently use of numerical programs tools such as MATLAB/SIMULINK, Ansys/Motor-CAD, JMAG, and 3D CAD tools such as CREO or NX. Programming skills in C, Python, or other relevant languages a plus.
Demonstrate a positive, open-minded attitude with a strong growth mindset, embracing challenges and driving innovation in new technologies.
Display excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
