Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.
Startup and repair of bypass transfer switch.
Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Current relevant electrical certification
Locally valid driving permit
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
This position will support our Data Center team and customers. Some travel may be required to support other data center locations but primary is in the DesMoines IA area. This position may also support PG customer and workload outside the Data Center customer base if needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position will support our Data Center customer base located within our DesMoines Ia. area. Additional situational support may be required. This position will require a Med-Card and we will also be required to complete a DMV driving report. ORDER, DOT Physical and DMV Report. Candidate must be 21 years old.
A current valid license is required for this role
This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
3 years driving experience
This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use
Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
