    Position summary

    • Engage in HSE training.

    Quality:

    • Follow all applicable standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures, including Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke, and visual standards.

    • Raise issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.

    • Perform quality inspections and identify/control non-conforming materials.

    Delivery:

    • Operate manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products that meet customer expectations in terms of characteristics and dimensions.

    • Demonstrate high competency in core work skills and achieve production goals.

    • Work at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.

    • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks.

    • Perform planned operator care and maintenance tasks.

    • Remain flexible and perform other duties as required to meet production goals.

    • Collaborate with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain equipment and identify repair needs.

    Teamwork:

    • Communicate effectively with the assigned team and all support teams.

    • Complete training and personal development in line with business requirements.

    • Actively participate in initiatives to improve quality, safety, process efficiency, material flow, and employee development.

    Education, Licenses, Certifications:

    • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.

    • Diploma in any branch of Engineering (preferred).

    • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Experience:

    • Requires some work experience or intermediate-level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.

    • Industry experience ranging from 2 to 8 years is preferred.

    Additional Skills:

    • Operate machinery and deliver qualitative output as per cycle time.

    • Ability to work in all three shifts.

    • Maintain 5S and cleanliness of machinery and surrounding areas.

    • Participate in continual improvement initiatives such as FIFI, Q-Pro, and Kaizen.

    • Manage bottleneck machines to ensure continuous operation without breaks.

    • Improve skill level on machines and participate in preventive and process maintenance.

    • Enhance Right First Time (RFT) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by addressing losses and rejections.

    • Adhere to break and shift start/end timings.

    • Plan leaves with the Manager to avoid equipment idle time.

    • Support other lines/functions as per business requirements.

    • Follow tasks assigned by Team Leader/Manager.
