We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in Scoresby, VIC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Coordinates the activities of a group of employees in order to meet established production specifications and schedules including volume, cost, wastage targets and quality standards.
• Monitor the performance and output of the team and assign tasks and inputs to ensure that work specifications, schedules, volume, cost, waste targets and quality standards are met.
• Ensures team members are using and following process documentation where applicable as part of operator training and defect investigation.
• Coordinates or communicates activities between shifts and team leaders, customer and supplier departments, and other support functions.
• Assists management in organizing and coordinating headcount and overtime needs to meet production and delivery schedules.
• Ensures on the job training and other training requirements are scheduled, completed and documented.
• Works on the production floor with a team of production operators to help achieve customer expectations when required. 

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Prior experience supervising a team would be an asset

• Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment is required
