Quality Assurance Inspector

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Pandan, Singapore. This role will be reporting to the Quality Manager. The role is to ensure products received or produced meet technical specifications. 

This role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects
• Working on new jobs allocated by the Supervisor or continuing previous shift job
• Working individually by driving the Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) to take the parts out from the location for inspection
• Inspect specific parts from common damage/defect shipment
• Separates products that do not have the desired technical specification, using basic and/or complex measurement techniques and equipment
• Reports on the damaging parts (products that are non-conforming) in the system
• Document products by keying the data into the system daily and excel sheet; this includes products that do not meet technical specifications
• Working with operations team on damage or defect part detected
• Working closely on the process, especially on Safety

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• 1-2 years of experience in Quality Inspection work
• Forklift Licence is required to drive the PIV within the workplace
• Experience working in Manufacturing companies or Warehouse environments will be an advantage
• Independent, proactive, and willing to shoulder new responsibilities
• Able to be working the afternoon shift – 5.30pm to 2.30am
