    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    Stay customer-focused: Always connect quality standards to customer satisfaction-understand that every inspection and verification directly impacts the end user's trust in the product.

    Exercise sound decision-making: Use data, specifications, and measurement results to make timely, accurate judgments about product conformity and next steps.

    Manage conflict constructively: Address discrepancies or differing opinions calmly and professionally to maintain team alignment and focus on shared quality goals.

    Be resourceful: Use measurement tools, inspection systems, and available data efficiently-find practical solutions even when resources or time are limited.

    Apply measurement science expertise: Understand and manage measurement uncertainty, calibration, and traceability across relevant domains (e.g., mechanical, optical, or dimensional) to ensure accuracy and reliability.

    Demonstrate quality process management skills: Use quality tools and methods like SPC, FMEA, and audits to continuously improve product and process quality.
