Conducting & Supporting Audits - Ensure internal and external compliance by leading or assisting in quality audits and driving corrective actions.
Coaching & Mentoring - Guide and develop team members by sharing expertise in quality practices, methodologies, and problem-solving techniques.
Collaborating Cross-Functionally - Work closely with key business partners to identify priorities, optimize processes, and implement Lean and IQTM methodologies.
Supporting Safe Product Launches - Lead and support Safe Launch initiatives to guarantee defect-free production for new and existing products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Leadership & Team Management - Ability to plan, coach, and develop a small team of technicians while ensuring alignment with company objectives and performance metrics.
Strong Problem-Solving & Quality Expertise - Proficiency in core quality tools (MSA, SPC, FMEA, PPAP, APQP) and methodologies like 7 Step, Ishikawa, 5 Why, and FTA for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Data-Driven Decision Making - Capability to monitor, manage, and report key performance metrics (PPM, scrap, CAR performance, capability, etc.) to drive continuous improvement.
Manufacturing & Quality Standards Knowledge - Experience with ISO:9001, IATF:16949, audits, Seiban change management, and Quality 4.0 tools for digitization and process optimization.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience:
Demonstrated role competence is required. College, university, or equivalent degree in Engineering or a related technical or scientific subject or experience equivalent is required.
Intermediate level of experience required. Preferably experience within a Manufacturing, Engineering or Program Management role in the automotive industry or a similarly regulated industry.
