Maintain neat and clean appearance in the customer parts area and warehouse
Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental standards, policies, procedures, and regulations
Maintain favorable relationships with internal and external customers by addressing their needs and issues in a timely manner
Perform other duties as assigned, which may include managing stock levels, shipping and receiving parts, inventory management, core processing, or other parts-related tasks
RESPONSIBILITIES
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, generating reports, and advanced-level computer skills
Experience with Concur, Salesforce, and FSL
Knowledge of warehouse inventory control, order processing, and order life cycle systems
Intuitive problem solver and fast learner
Ability to act on opportunities with customers to upsell supporting products and services, as appropriate
Prior experience in the HD engine/truck/marine industry is preferred, but not required
Experience with Quick Serve, Rapid Serve, or Parts.Cummins.Com is preferred, but not required
QUALIFICATIONS
Core responsibilities :
This role is for inside parts sales. This will include walk in, email, and phone customers. Along with over-the-counter parts sales, sales to internal service customers will be required. Outside of parts sales, other duties will include shipping/receiving, inventory control, putting away stock, core reconciliation, and other various parts duties.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, generating reports, and advanced level computer skills.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires some work experience or intermediate level of knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
Prior experience in the HD engine/truck/marine industry is preferred, but not a requirement.
Previous experience with Quick serve, Rapid serve, or Parts.Cummins.Com is preferred, but not a requirement.
