Technician - Field Service

Field Service Diesel Mechanic - Pooraka $5,000 Sign On Bonus

We are looking for a talented Field Service Diesel Mechanic to join our high performing field service team specialising in Heavy Vehicle service, repairs and maintenance across mining, on-highway, industrial and power generation customers based from  our Pooraka branch.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

• Deliver a first-class service to our customers
• Complete service, repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products in the field, on clients sites and in our workshop as required
• Diagnose and repair various engines predominately across mining, on-highway, industrial and power generation
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, health and environmental procedures
• Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens

To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

• Previous experience in breakdown support is highly desirable
• Mechanical trades qualified as a Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards)
• Experience with servicing and maintaining heavy diesel products
• Cummins engine experience is highly preferred but not essential
• Solid diagnostic and IT capabilities
