    We are looking for a talented Technician to join our team specializing in Engine repairs and maintenance for our Manukau branch.

     The unique opportunity we have in our team will give you: 

    • Opportunity to work in the workshop and in the field settings both in Manukau and throughout New Zealand.
    • Exposure to the full range of Cummins engine from 2.8ltr through to 95ltr in a variety of applications including Automotive, Marine, Power Generation, Industrial, Mining, construction. 
    •  Being part of a team delivering first-class service to our customers and key partners.
    • Being involved with diagnostics of engine and equipment issues, repairs, maintenance and rebuilds of Cummins products.
    • Work for the only factory owned Diesel Engine company in NZ giving you direct access to Cummins global systems & support.

    To be successful in this role you will need the following: 

    • Mechanical trades qualified – preferably heavy automotive / heavy industrial.
    • A customer focused mindset and a willingness to learn.
    • Cummins experience or an understanding of engine rebuild & diagnostic fundamentals is ideal, however training will be provided.
    • Be self-motivated with good communications skills having a strong desire to be part of a high performing team and brand
    • Complete Cummins drug & medical testing – Cummins is a zero drug & alcohol workplace.

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Highly competitive hourly rate reflecting experience. 
    • Overtime after 8 hours (or as agreed)
