    • Maintain work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation, ensuring a safe and organized workspace.

    • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, and report any issues/incidents to the supervisor promptly.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    We are looking for a talented Mechanical Technician - Heavy Diesel to join our team in Wetherill Park, Sydney.

    Key Responsibilities:

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    • Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products

    • Diagnose and repair various engines

    • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning

    Experience:

    • Minimal level of workshop experience required

    • Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    • Australian recognised Trade certificate (Heavy Commercial Vehicle/Heavy Diesel or Plant)

    • Previous repairs and maintenance experience with On Highway Truck, Mining, Construction or Agriculture applications is desirable but not essential

    • Cummins, VOLVO, Kenworth, Hitachi, Komatsu & Liebherr experience highly desirable

    Qualifications for Internal Candidates:

    • Maintain a clean and tidy work area and toolbox.

    • Have good attention to detail and enthusiasm to deliver the customer with a quality repair.

    • Engine rebuild and major experience preferred but not essential.

    • Experience with the Cummins product is preferred but not essential.
