We are looking for a talented Workshop Technician to join our team specializing in Service for our Distribution Business Segment in Leeds.

This is a permanent role working https://37.5 hours per week, Monday - Thursday https://8.00am - https://4.45pm and Friday https://8.00am - https://12.30pm.

Potential earnings up to £46,000 per annum plus evening and weekend overtime required where needed and an annual company bonus.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Completes troubleshooting, repairs, and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop independently.
  • Be able to follow procedures and policies to perform diagnostics and complex repairs.
  • Performs preventative maintenance based on assessment of engine.
  • Completes required documentation, such as work completed documents, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten or business system input screens.
  • Maintains work area and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
  • Adheres to all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Apprentice Trained (preferred)
  • Licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations (beneficial)
  • Advanced level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products (essential)
  • Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)
  • Mechanical background (essential)
  • Full UK Driver's licence (essential)
  • Good communication skills
