ll give presentations and interact with leaders at the Director/AVP/VP-level from Actuarial/Finance/Underwriting/Accounts multiple times a month.
This is an excellent chance to develop communication skills while collaborating with multiple leadership teams. The role will also have the freedom to investigate segment performance in technical detail to discover hidden drivers and communicate them to business stakeholders. This role is an amazing opportunity to interact with leadership and participate in strategic discussions.
Regular responsibilities include:
Presenting PEX segment financials to leadership stakeholders; Financial Statement, DOS results, and case-level performance.
Maintenance of FAX model, the private exchange premium rating tool, and annual pricing refresh activities
Update and explanation of PEX forecast model results
PEX point-of-contact for Actuarial for day-to-day segment activities for stakeholders (Finance/UW/Accounts)
Risk adjustment accrual setting/reporting each quarter
Plan valuation of incumbent carrier benefit plans for NB quoting
Required Qualifications
At least 1-2 SOA exams passed
Proficiency in Excel and MS Office
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years experience in actuarial, health insurance preferred
Experience with SQL, VBA, R Studio
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field
At least one SOA exam passed
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,888.00 - $93,574.80
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
