skills and competencies Aetna Medicaid A&G employees require to effectively achieve Aetna's business goals.Develop, install and support eLearning training tools and programs, using a variety of authoring software tools, which are enabled in Aetna's technological architecture and effectively train large and midsize audiences in a cost effective, educationally-sound manner to achieve Aetna's business goals.-Utilizes desktop technology to offer a broad range of presentation and delivery strategies, including self-paced video, audio, simulations and scenarios, to develop curriculum for the Intranet.
-Performs quality reviews to ensure program meets quality and design standards.
-Ensures eLearning programs are developed using the appropriate levels of adult learning instructional techniques and evaluation tools.
-Effectively integrates e.learning programs into Aetna's technological architecture and learning management system.
-Researches new eLearning tools and evaluates such technologies for support of training initiatives to improve and facilitate the design and development of Aetna eLearning programs.
-Supports the roll out/ implementation of eLearning programs.
-Exhibits behaviors outlined in Instructional Technologist SkillsRequired Qualifications
Successful training experience, training various levels of staff
Preferred Qualifications
Strong technical/software skills (Microsoft suite, Dreamweaver, Front Page, Authorware, Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Audio and Graphic software). Expert in HTML and JavaScript, solid understanding of Aviation Industry CBT Committee and SCORM (Shareable Content Object Reference Model) specification and how they apply to learning mgmt systems. Experience in web development, design and graphic design. Experience in SharePoint design.
Education
Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science or Management Information Systems degree is preferred or equivalent work experience.
Experience in designing and developing performance-based training programs.Anticipated Weekly Hours

The typical pay range for this role is:$43,888.00 - $76,500.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
