Cardiopulmonary Patient Educator - Registered Nurse

-time position.**

In this role you will:

• Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations and the sales team to coordinate the patient's plan of care.

• Work within a highly specialized area of nursing and enjoy the autonomy that comes from working within a home care service.

• Assist patients who are initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled therapies for PAH.

• Develop deep relationships with patients and caregivers in a one-on-one setting.

• Have excellent written and verbal customer service skills and advanced computer skills in order to interact with key partners

• Participate in on-call as the business needs.

Travel:

• Travel will be via car and airplane to see patients, support our sales team, and for training as needed.
• When not visiting patients, you will work from home (approximately 20% of the time)
• Approximately 80% of your time will be spent visiting patients in the hospital, or in their homes.
• If living in the Denver area, you will visit patients within two hours of Denver about 50% of the time with the remaining 50% spent throughout the state of CO and surrounding states.
• If living in MT, or WY, most patient visits will require airline travel.
• When beyond a drivable distance, you will be staying in a hotel overnight for 1-2 nights at a time.

Required Qualifications

• Must live within one hour of Denver International Airport, Billings-Logan International Airport, or Cheyenne Retional Airport

• Registered Nurse with a current unrestricted license in the state of CO, MT, or WY and have the ability to obtain additional licensure for multi-state service area

• Two years of experience in a critical care or acute care hospital setting providing high-tech infusions, or two years of high-tech home infusion experience.

• Ability to build positive business relationships with all levels of medical/clinical personnel.

• Ability to travel as noted in the position summary and as business needs require.

• Have and maintain current CPR certification.

• Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance.

• Participate in the on call rotation as determined by staffing and business needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in caring for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension - PAH is great, but not required

• Home healthcare and pediatric experience is preferred, but not required

• CRNI certification is preferred, but not required

Education

• RN Diploma, Associates or B.S. degree in nursing

The typical pay range for this role is:$54,095.00 - $129,615.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
