The Dental Network Recruiter actively recruits dentist for Aetna's Dental Networks to ensure continued growth of all dental products.
The Network Recruiter builds long-term relationships with provider offices, provides network education, fee schedule negotiation, and full cycle recruitment to ensure contracting and onboarding of new providers. Responsibilities also include maintaining, reinforcing, and fostering important growth initiative for network improvement.
Primary Responsibilities
Strategically identify, recruit, negotiate, and contract dental providers in a geographic area within established guidelines to meet network need
Primary recruitment responsibilities will be to continue to build and maintain our existing PPO, Extend, DMO and Medicare Advantage networks in a specific geographic area
Explaining the value in joining the Aetna network, and available provider resources
Researching providers/groups using company systems to forecast, predict, and prepare for provider/group communication to ensure a positive outcome and to draw interest in joining the Aetna Network
Negotiate fee schedules within established guidelines while being cognizant of utilization and cost.
Contracting providers by ensuring all data and documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted properly
Track assigned duties and activities using the appropriate company resource (i.e. Avaya phone system, Salesforce/CRM, etc.)
Maintain and build strong business relationships with providers to ensure a positive provider experience and instill confidence in the Aetna brand
Meet and or exceed performance goals consistently
Contribute to a positive working environment that motivates the team to be successful
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area or Sales/ dental or medical experience
PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office products
Ability to work autonomously from home (remote) and travel 25% of time
Preferred Qualifications
Dental industry knowledge
Knowledge of PPO and Medicare advantage methodologies
Negotiation skills
Sales presentation skills
Salesforce experience
Strong work ethic and be a team player
Organized with excellent time-management capabilities
Detail oriented, flexible, and creative with strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to manage complex situations and multiple priorities

Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of corporate personnel and providers
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $102,000.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
