What you will do
Directs operations for the financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
Conducts in-depth financial analysis to evaluate the financial performance of business units or initiatives, analyzing profitability, cost drivers, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities.
Assists with the development of the company's strategic plans by providing financial analysis and insights, assessing financial feasibility and impact of proposed strategic initiatives and investments.
Prepares financial models and sensitivity analysis to support decision-making.
Contributes to monthly and quarterly reporting packages and formal business reviews, and participates in leadership presentations.
Ensures quality financial summaries and presents complex dashboard information to management.
Collaborates with business leaders to identify areas of improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue growth strategies.
Allocates resources to improve financial planning and analysis inefficiencies, implement automation or standardization initiatives, and enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Manage and mentor financial analysts, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure team professional development and the achievement of work area goals.

Position Summary
In this role, the Manager will support the CFO for the Southeast region with achieving the region's financial and strategic goals.
You will support the Western Region with managing and growing the Commercial and Specialty products within the region and this role will report to the Region CFO and Deputy CFO.
-You will partner with senior management team within the region to maintain financial and operational control of the business.
-Support the financial close, planning and forecasting processes.
-Analyze key performance metrics to identify areas to focus on and analyze results, including detailed review of medical cost drivers and DOS results.
-Analyze premiums and fees rate against budgets and forecasts.
-You will support P&L/cost center owner level reporting, membership or expense forecasts, product reporting and balance sheet reporting.
-You will collaborate with constituent areas including Actuarial, Underwriting, Network and Medical Economics.
-Resolve problems and drive issues to resolution.
-Present financials to senior leadership.

The typical pay range for this role is:$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
