Position Summary
CVS Media Exchange (CMX) uses The Power of the Everyday Purchase™ to enable advertisers to reach valuable health and wellness shoppers wherever they are, employing our deep ExtraCare® data and predictive analytics to anticipate shopper needs and deliver personalized
communications.
CMX is currently seeking its next Senior Manager, Marketing Operations which is responsible for building and sustaining enhanced capabilities that support efficient management and execution of the CMX Marketing portfolio. CMX Marketing Operations drives operational efficiency and excellence in execution by building, using, and monitoring processes and tools that optimize the way the CMX Marketing organization works. This role will be a part of the CMX Marketing Team reporting to the Lead Director, Marketing Operations. The Sr. Manager is an individual contributor that will be responsible for orchestration and project management across several cross-functional teams, allowing for the development and execution of comprehensive marketing and sales enablement strategies that work backwards from the needs of our customers and drive awareness and adoption of our advertising products and solutions.
CMX is a highly visible and anticipated initiative for CVS with aggressive growth goals over the next 3-5 years. CMX is seeking a highly motivated individual with strong digital and technology experience to help drive this growth engine. This person will be experienced at managing and delivering marketing projects from kick-off to completion and launch.
This role will become a part of a cross functional strategy & execution team that gets projects completed on time and exceeds expectations. Additionally, this role will manage multiple concurrent projects and diverse stakeholder groups to meet CMX strategic media network goals. This team member will have a keen focus on supporting revenue generating initiatives across Product Marketing and Client Solutions. Working with cross functional team members, the Sr. Manger will meticulously organize and keep projects moving forward from the front lines, updating key partners about progress, and overcoming all the inevitable hurdles along the way.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Manage multiple concurrent projects across teams that build marketing and sales enablement material which showcases commercially relevant assets within presentations, product videos, sell sheets, case studies, infographics, PR and more
Create project plans that drive go-to-market strategies and key product launches, and revise to meet changing requirements and deadlines
Oversee all aspects of projects: scope, risk, schedule, quality, and communication to stakeholders' fullest satisfaction
Lead status meetings and capture, store, and distribute meeting notes
Evaluate new work requests, identify resources needed, assign individual responsibilities, and schedule action items
Provide regular updates and progress reports to key team members, including executive leadership
Be a point of escalation for all issues and changes to existing plans
Coordinate internal reviews and quality assurance. Keep track of lessons learned and share with all team members
Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop processes and workflows to align with business goals
Lead lookback meetings with an eye for procedural and ways of working improvement
Develop/maintain reports and dashboards within Workfront to align KPIs to inform on portfolio status and areas of operational improvement
Manage Marketing Ops onboarding documentation and schedules for new team members, ensure all lives on-SharePoint for coordination of ongoing training and re-training efforts
Own cross-functional and team-wide collaboration model and RACI, ensuring ways of working are consistent, clear, and adhered to by the team
Drive weekly discussions / status meetings with CMX leaders regarding portfolio health, KPIs, and process adherence as appropriate.
This role is hybrid. It must be based near one of our Corporate Hubs, you must work in the office 3 or more days a week: Boston, MA, Wellesley, MA, Woonsocket, RI, Hartford, CT, New York, NY, Chicago, IL, or Blue Bell, PA.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of marketing ops experience with a strong foundation of business, retailer, and consumer understanding.
3+ years cross-functional leadership experience.
2+ years of retail marketing or retail agency ops/strategy experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Project management certification or equitable experience
Paid Media/Retail Media Network background
Familiarity with Workfront is ideal
Experience working with a Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform a plus
Strong project/program management, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Ability to adapt between strategic and tactical thinking and work well within both
Proven experience managing client relationships and effectively problem solve, ability to analyze problems and provide a viable solution
Ability to work well in a fast-changing environment
Excellent, proven organization skills, including strong attention to detail and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in all aspects of project management process groups (initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling)
Strong listening and superior relationship building skills
High intellectual curiosity, drive, determination, self-confidence, and persuasion skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (HS Diploma + 4 years of relevant experience) required.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $199,144.80
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
