In the absence of the Electrical Supervisor, the Sr. Data Center Electrician will train less experienced staff and ensure safety protocols are followed to mitigate risks. Additionally, the role includes escorting outside vendors or contractors to ensure compliance with CVS Health policies and procedures.Work Schedule:
• 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday
• Two 8-hour shifts during the weekKey Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot, install, remove, repair, and maintain mission-critical building electrical systems.
• Ensure the reliability of life safety systems.
• Collaborate with JHA and external vendors for life safety inspections.
• Install and maintain branch circuit wiring, cables, conduits, panels, breakers, UPS systems, and diesel-fired emergency generators.
• Train and supervise less experienced staff in the absence of the Electrical Supervisor.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and CVS Health policies.
• Escort and oversee outside vendors or contractors.Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• RI Journeyman electrical license.
• 1+ year of experience and proficiency in reading, understanding, installing, and repairing electrical plans and schematics of electrical components, systems life safety equipment and power generation systems.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in corporate Data Centers or a willingness to learn all aspects of mission-critical operations, building maintenance, and equipment installations.
• Ability to work overtime and various shifts as needed.
• Availability for timely emergency response during or after natural weather-related events to restore service, assess damage, repair critical systems, or assist third-party service providers.
• Master-level license or equivalent experience and training.
• Experience with HVAC controls installation, repairs, or troubleshooting.
• OSHA 10 certification.Education:
High School Diploma or GED requiredPay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:$21.10 - $44.99This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
