    Position summary

    P, AWS and Kong. The Software Development Engineer will write and execute unit tests, conduct code reviews, debug, and troubleshoot issue to ensure the reliability of our systems. In this role, the right candidate will be involved in all phases of software engineering, from requirements analysis to deployment, while adhering to agile software development methodologies. Collaboration is key, as you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business.In this role, you will

    • Collaborate with the team to design and implement component of our software architecture

    • Help deploy and maintain large scale software in Production, ensure operational excellence

    • Help translate business requirements into software system in a cross-functional, agile environment

    Required Qualifications

    • 3+ years experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs

    • 3+ years experience with Micro Services in a cloud environment

    • 2+ years experience building and maintaining microservices that are loosely coupled, independently deployable, and have well-defined interfaces

    • 2+ years experience in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, and experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Flask, Express.js, etc

    • 2+ years experience in designing complex integrations with a focus on performance engineering and loose coupling utilizing APIs and Services

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with Cloud Platform like Azure, GCP and AWS

    • Experience with APIC (IBM API Connect) or any API Management Platform

    • Basic understanding of test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD)

    • Understanding of how to use automated testing to ensure the quality and reliability of microservices

    • Familiarity with tools and frameworks for unit testing, integration testing, and functional testing

    • Familiarity with best practices for API versioning, error handling, and testing

    • Previous healthcare experience and domain knowledge

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience)

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:$72,100.00 - $158,620.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
