You will help educate both business and technology personnel on the agile and XP development process and create products from discovery and framing through iterative development and delivery. You will also maintain a user-centered and business-as-priority approach in design perspective and practice.

    A firm understanding of Java development principles and agile methodologies is crucial for success in the role. Candidates must be able to be in the office to work in hybrid model with product teams from 8AM to 4:30PM.

    The CVS health platform innovation scrum teams are a mix of a Product Managers and UX designers, as well as highly skilled Java Engineers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work in a paired programming collaborative environment, contributing to agile ceremonies

    • Design efficient and user-friendly software products to advance and support business needs

    • Develop frontend and backend code utilizing test-driven development

    Required Qualifications:

    • 2 years of software development life cycle experience.

    • 3+ months of Java development experience, which can include coursework from an accredited university

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Cloud development experience

    • PaaS, SaaS development experience

    • Rest API development experience

    • SQL experience

    • Splunk experience

    • Docker experience

    • Kubernetes experience

    • Experience with Angular, React, or other frontend frameworks

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field preferred

    • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of related work experience

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    $75,705.00 - $154,500.00

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
