This position is in the Illiquid Asset Operations (IAO) group at RREEF Management, LLC, a real estate investment advisor, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of DWS. The IAO group is responsible for all aspects of fund operations, including accounting, fund finance, client reporting, and business application administration. The group interacts closely with other DWS teams, including Portfolio and Asset Management, and services the entire RREEF advised direct real estate portfolio in the https://U.S. consisting of approximately $36 billion assets under management.

The successful candidate will help shape and provide structure around RREEF’s data governance program and play a key role in defining the data quality strategy for the group in addition to facilitating the data quality resolution process.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement the communication and training plans for organization-wide Data Governance
  • Maintain the Data Governance Framework initiatives and implements changes according to change management procedures as part of the continuous improvement cycle
  • Establish and maintain a Data Governance Council charter
  • Liaise with business process owners for the implementation of data-related business process improvements
  • Facilitate Data Governance Council meetings; provide leadership and guidance to council members to support them in achieving the data governance program objectives
  • Support Data Governance Council in estimating high-level budget and resource requirements for data governance initiatives
  • Monitor the progress of the Data Governance Program and associated data quality initiatives, according to defined metrics.

Your Skills & Experience:

  • At least 10-15 years of IT experience with at least 2 years involved in data management
  • Deep understanding of best practices in Data Governance and data quality improvement
  • Experience in logical data management, Data Governance, and tools-based data quality improvement.
  • Deep understanding of business strategy and metrics
  • Experience working successfully with stakeholders and partners to translate business needs into taxonomy solutions
  • Excellent leadership skills with at least 5 years work experience in leading Technical/Functional team with focus on project delivery
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and leadership)
