About the Portfolio Management Team
As a member of the Portfolio Management Team for the US Core Flagship Real Estate Fund, you will manage assets across the multi-family, industrial, office, and retail sectors. You will also work in collaboration with other internal groups including acquisitions, asset management, research, and development as required.
Flagship core fund, is top 5 amongst the ODCE, with over $20 billion in assets, 120+properties and 300+ investors. National presence with diverse asset classes. Join a team of four dedicated portfolio managers.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Manage quarterly internal and external valuation process
Conduct fund and property level analyses
Participate in the ongoing implementation and execution of the property level business plans by working closely with 9-12 asset managers to manage and optimize the existing asset portfolio
Track and evaluate property performance. Collaborate with asset managers, contract managers and brokerage teams to adapt and optimize business plans.
Provide routine updates to senior professionals, investment committee and board of directors
Manage Analyst/Associate pool (6 direct reports) – hire, onboard and facilitate training for new hires, conduct performance evaluations, and manage asset allocations (NYC ONLY)
Your Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of experience
Familiarity with industry benchmarks and NPI-ODCE Funds a plus
Undergraduate Degree
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills in a team-oriented environment
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Argus
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience in all asset classes a plus
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
Strong industry relationships and connections

Expectations
It is DWS’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in one of our offices in accordance with the firm’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City and California is $150,000 to $205,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
