Position Overview

Job Title: Transformation Analyst, Activity Monitoring Group

Location: Birmingham

Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President

The Independent Review Group is a Level 1 control function performing internal and external surveillance across the Bank globally. As part of Regulatory and Cross Product Operations, you will be aligned with front office whilst maintaining segregation of work to perform a quality check review and test controls. Reviewing the Expected Nature and Purpose of Relationship Templates completed by the Accountable Client Owners within the business and quality checking the information to the minimum Know Your Client (KYC) standards of the Bank to align with current regulations.

This is a new function in which you will ensure the Bank meets its regulatory targets.

Your key responsibilities

  • Driving change projects with the Operations Subject Matter Experts and with the support of the tech teams who will conduct the development to improve efficiencies and automate processes

  • Coordinating a team of people to implement change projects such as review of processes and efficiencies

  • Conducting Analysis and proposing solutions, understand business requirements and create functional specifications for Client Reference Data management products, keeping abreast of changing demands from multiple stakeholders and book of work initiatives

  • Support project management activities to assist in the delivery of migrations and enhancements; Monitoring and reporting on progress of the project to key stakeholders

  • Preparing relevant Management Information to provide Management and Governance Updates

Your skills and experience

  • Banking / Financial Services experience with proven track record of delivering operational change and supporting operational/regulatory projects

  • Analytical skills, flexible regarding production problem solving

  • Able to work in virtual global teams and a matrix organisation

  • Excellent organisation and communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks

  • Knowledge of ‘KYC’ process and associated data would be beneficial
