Position Overview

JOB TITLE: Vice President – {MP6834681}

DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks a Vice President in Cary, NC to gather business requirements from business users and end-users and translate requirements into technical specifications to build robust, scalable and distributed trade surveillance models. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience designing and developing Apache Ecosystem (including Spark, Hive, Impala, and Hadoop) and performing integration testing for applications. Must include at least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience working with Financial Services environments including products, instruments, trade lifecycles, regulation, risk, financial reporting, and accounting; gathering requirement from business uses and converting to functional and technical documents; working with Behavior Driven Development to define requirements and create a system of living documentation; creating Remote interfaces using web services for accessing services across multiple enterprise applications using JAX-WS; developing Rich user interfaces using HTML, JSP, Java Script, AJAX, AngularJS and CSS; utilizing SQL Developer to query, update and monitor Oracle databases; utilizing UNIX box to run batch jobs and check server logs; and in performing duties, utilizing SPARK, CDP, HIVE, IMPALA, Zeppelin, HDFS, Cloud, Openshift, Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Spring Boot, JSP, Jaxb, Active MQ, Oracle, Weblogic, Apache Tomcat, JBoss, HTML, CSS, AJAX, Angular JS, Eclipse, IBM AIX, Linux, IBM DB2, Junit, Log, Toad, IBM DB2 SQL, PL/SQL,  Shell Scripting, and Control-M.
