Lead Front End Developer

Work you’ll do 

Lead Front End developer with strong capabilities on React technologies. Experience working in the California Health Insurance Exchange markets and understands the unique needs of this domain. Ability to work independently with the client for requirements gathering and work with other engineers to create and develop front end solutions.

In order to help clients reduce costs, improve health outcomes, and respond to public health crises, our Health Technology practice addresses critical health agency issues including: claims management, electronic health records, health information exchanges, health analytics, and health case management. 

Qualifications & Responsibilities :

·       Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications

·       Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.

·       Identifying web-based user interactions.

·       Developing new user-facing features using React.js

·       Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

·       Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code

·       Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

·       Documenting application changes and developing updates.

·       Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.

·       Monitoring and improving front-end performance.

Skills :

·       Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model and CSS, HTML, and front-end languages

·       Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles

·       Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

·       Experience with JEST unit testing framework

·       Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript

·       Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

·       Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus

·       Familiarity with RESTful APIs

·       Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token

·       Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

·       Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

·       Familiarity with code versioning tools {such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}

·       Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.

Desirable skills and experience:

·       Working with distributed teams

·       TypeScript, Rx.js, Redux

·       Event-driven APIs

·       Real time trading experience

·       Tenacious, curious, and collaborative in all aspects of your work

·       A quick learner with excellent communication skills
