Position summary

Position Summary

The chief purpose of the Development Center of Excellence (COE) is to bring out the best of every person and the best of every team, so that we can deliver the best of our Firm to our clients.

The Development COE focuses on:

  • Bringing out the leader in every person
  • A holistic approach to development that emphasizes not just education, but also self-awareness, exposure to real-world problems, and connections to people

The Team

Due to the regulatory requirements and oversight of the PCAOB, members of the Audit Talent Development team are often asked to respond to multiple, random, urgent requests re: curriculum content, delivery logistics and timing, and in process development.  As such, it is critical that development specialists can effectively cope with change and shift gears comfortably. It is critical that development specialists are comfortable aligning communication, people, culture, processes, resources and systems to ensure effective implementation and delivery of required results. Our Audit Talent Development Team works primarily and almost exclusively in a virtual environment. As such, it is important that development specialists are able to allocate their own time efficiently, handle multiple demands and competing priorities on their own with, at times, little direct supervision from others, manage meetings effectively over the phone, and recognize and demonstrate engagement and support for their team by actively participating on calls, raising questions and sharing their opinions appropriately.
