Work you'll do!
As a Lead Pricing Specialist on our team, you will support new and existing business opportunities within the GPS Practice. The role of Lead Pricing Specialist will be to work with minimal supervision in the execution of the following key responsibilities:
Review and interpret Cyber Detect and Respond RFP/RFQ/RFI documentation; identify and develop questions based on the solicitation that impact pricing compliance and strategy.
Work with sales teams to develop Cyber Detect and Respond pricing quotes and models by working with internal Deloitte pricing development teams and enablement/proposal development teams.
Understand and communicate pricing and subcontracting strategies within proposals.
Review and revise pricing model and descriptions and participate in quality assurance reviews. Perform proposal reviews within a team environment. Participate in management reviews.
Build and populate Cyber Detect and Respond customer pricing templates to facilitate identification and population of staff within the estimating data - interacting with enablement teams, sales teams, client facing teams, and pricing development teams.
Develop and communicate Cyber Detect and Respond pricing requirements in the proposal planning / scheduling process.
Develop cost and pricing exhibits designed to provide compliant and responsive proposal responses.
Qualifications
Required Qualification:
Minimum 3+ years in professional service with a minimum of 1+ years' experience in Cyber Detect and Respond products and services.
Minimum of 3+ years' experience in the use of Microsoft Office Applications with a strong focus on Excel modeling for analysis and data presentation, and PowerPoint for developing effective presentations
Undergraduate degree - Engineering, Computer Science, Finance
Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to project deadlines and solicitation requirements
Experience working in a fast-paced, deliverable centric team environment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of the proposal life cycle as well as contract types, including fixed-price, cost and T&M/FPLH. Pricing experience with GSA Schedules, BPA/IDIQs, Commercial and State & Local
Understanding of solicitation pricing requirements and evaluation criteria
Concepts of Cost vs. Price and Direct vs. Indirect rate structures
Ability to accurately understand and work with pricing models and pricing teams.
General knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other acquisition regulations relating to proposal pricing
Identification of many commonly used regulations and ability to explain their relevancy to bids and pricing in general.
Previous experience in a federal or state and local professional service contracting environment.
Experience in pre-sales or solution architecture of Cyber Detect and Respond products / services.
Experience developing pricing models and presentations for RFx responses of Cyber Detect and Respond
Experience delivering pricing models and presentations to client sales teams, client teams and "C" level executives.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,400 to $165,000.
