The professionals in Deloitte's Life Sciences Research & Development practice understand the unique challenges confronting today's Life Sciences organizations. Our approaches are pragmatic and realistic, and span the continuum from new R&D operating models through portfolio management, data analytics, IT transformation across clinical, regulatory and safety domains.

We have built outstanding insights to the challenges and opportunities in this space and have strong industry relationships and experiences in delivering business results. We are looking for Senior Managers to help us shape the direction of our practice capabilities and delivery of project results. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in clinical, regulatory and safety processes, data analytics, and next generation technology solutions as well as understands the needs of industry and regulators.

We help clients unlock business agility and sustainable value through technology. We reimagine the technology + business relationships by architecting future business and technology strategies, operating models, platforms, ecosystems, and capabilities into integrated business solutions. We orchestrate the breadth of Deloitte to co-create business value across the C-suite and to the board.

Key Senior Manager Responsibilities

A Senior Manager at Deloitte will manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement business and technology solutions to solve our client's most complex challenges.

• Educate clients on the latest trends and implications for their business
• Bring an innovative mindset to help clients achieve their strategic goals and ambitions
• Design actionable strategies and roadmaps that clients can utilize to deliver business value
• Develop financial models depicting both the financial obligation and future value of future technology implementations
• Manage teams in developing business strategies, designing and implementing solutions to deliver value in an agile way
• Formulate planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting strategies.
• Manage full life cycle implementations.
• Develop statements of work and/or client proposals.
• Identify business opportunities to increase usability and profitability
• Interact with program leadership, governance, and change enablement teams.
• Develop and manage vendor relationships
• Design and facilitate client workshops
• Manage resources and budget on client projects

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Industry experience in R&D processes, data analytics, and/or solution development (in the order of 5+ years)
• Understanding of business practices, solutions and relevant regulations forclinical data and trials management
• Understanding of industry trends and future directions for clinical development
• Understanding or experience with core elements of bio-pharma drug research and/or drug development
• Areas of expertise to include pre-clinical studies, clinical trials, safety, regulatory operations and medical affairs, portfolio/project management translational medicine
• Limited sponsorship available
• Travel up to 90%
