Manager, Software Solutions Specialist – DAS Low Code/No Code Capability Incubation Center

Work you’ll do

In this role the incumbent will lead efforts in enterprise software administration, programming, and analysis. In addition, the professional will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans, policies, and procedures

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Manages enterprise software administration, programming, and analysis
  • Develops and implements business plans, policies, and procedures
  • Drive Lowcode/Nocode (LCNC) capability incubation within ITS and develop programs, work with the delivery team to experiment and up skill the core team. Work with the customers to educate and build awareness on LCNC. Identify, assess and research products supporting the LCNC product line and form strategy, goals and roadmap on implementations. Work with leadership in developing organization goals aligned with firm LCNC strategy and manage budget.
  • Evaluate results within business unit to determine if organizational objectives are being met
  • Analyze and resolve enterprise software issues and needs including improvement of system efficiency and integration of existing software applications into ERP & CRM solutions
  • Manage and prioritize the flow of work through the program Kanban and into the program backlog. You will be responsible for making sure that there are always enough features ready in the backlog, including Feature acceptance criteria that can be used to establish that it meets its Definition of Done (DoD). You will also ensure the backlog is reprioritized before each Program Increment (PI) Planning session.
  • Participate in Program Increment planning by presenting the vision which highlights the proposed features of the solution along with any relevant upcoming Milestones. You will participate and collaborate with Business Owners for the train, with the responsibility of approving Objectives and establishing business value.
  • Participating in technology/solution decisions with architecture and product teams for projects, to include ensuring that technical design, unit testing, deployment, and implementation requirements are properly documented.
  • Collaborating with the Product Owner(s) to analyze business and functional requirements that have an impact on business applications.
  • Leading offshore resources, to include working with the offshore Technical Delivery Manager to optimize the mix of the development resources.

Deloitte Application Studios (DAS) is the internal software and applications development team responsible for delivering leading-edge technologies to Deloitte professionals. DAS enables our client service professionals through a comprehensive suite of applications across the business lines. In addition to application delivery, DAS offers full-scale design services, a robust mobile portfolio, cutting-edge analytics, and innovative custom development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years of directly related experience including subject matter expertise in area(s) managed, as well as at least one year of leadership responsibility.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Lowcode/Nocode platforms like PowerApps, Mendix or OutSystems
  • Experience in Cloud based architecture and technologies
