Work you’ll do: 

The Microsoft Azure & Technology Platforms Lead will be a key member of the Cloud Native & Application Development team with responsibility to advise clients across advise, build and operate phases of cloud enablement where targeting the Microsoft Technology ecosystem with Azure at the core. 

Main Responsibilities 

• Provides expert advice to multiple clients on leading practices and key developments within the Microsoft technology ecosystem.
• Supports solution architects and account leadership in qualifying, shaping and closing client proposals and ensuring highest quality standards of proposal submission.
• Originates innovative go to market strategies either across industry or within a specific industry vertical.
• Maintains an appropriate client relationship with key stakeholders within relevant IT domains (e.g. infrastructure, enterprise architecture, cyber security)
• Mobilizes proposal development teams to ensure an optimal mix of SMEs and relevant disciplines.
• Contributes to practice development through consistent Microsoft Technology platform learning.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the public cloud solutions architect community.

Essential Experience & Qualifications Required: 

• 15+ years of technical experience in full lifecycle technology implementation from ideation to delivery / operation.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Technology Platform and related services with a major focus on Azure cloud including enterprise application solution and integration design.
• Solid experience in client facing communications to CxO level.
• Extensive business development experience to drive or support proposal development including innovation / value proposition, pricing models and delivery approach.
• Expert knowledge of scaled agile development practices and associated disciplines such as SAFe, CI/CD, Git, Kanban.
• AZ-900 Fundamentals certification.
• Travel up to 50% (While 50% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice). 

Preferred Experience & Skills: 

• Specialty Azure development skills and associated services & languages – Python, R, Scala.
• Industry specific experience.
• Additional Azure certifications (Associate, Expert, Specialty) 
• Additional certification across other platforms like AWS and GCP Developer (Associate or Professional level) certification etc. 
• Working knowledge of data modeling, analytics, data mining and machine learning 
• Web development skills – JavaScript, Angular, React JS
