National DEI Talent Acquisition Leader

Role Description:

As the National DEI Talent Acquisition Senior Manager, you will lead and drive Deloitte’s comprehensive strategies to identify, attract, engage, and hire diverse talent for the Deloitte US Firms. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will develop innovative programs, partnerships, and tactics to support Deloitte’s diversity hiring aspirations. As a member of the Talent Acquisition Leadership Team, you will work with senior Talent Acquisition leaders, business stakeholders and external partners to implement and activate the strategy, and embed principles of diversity, equity and inclusion throughout our talent acquisition processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, lead and direct the diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) Talent Acquisition strategy for US and India utilizing deep understanding of target talent populations, and a strong foundation in talent acquisition, to identify the areas of greatest opportunity and set a roadmap to meet future growth
  • Collaborate with senior Talent Acquisition leaders and the various Deloitte businesses to build strategies which will identify and engage top talent from underrepresented groups throughout the candidate journey, across all levels (campus, experienced and executive)
  • Engage key stakeholders and senior leaders from Deloitte’s diversity networks and Inclusion Councils - - to help lead, drive, and support the DE&I Talent Acquisition agenda
  • Innovate and evolve Deloitte’s current Talent Acquisition programs to identify and build diverse talent communities on campuses, among experienced and executive professionals
  • Monitor the competitive landscape; design and develop creative ideas to strengthen Deloitte’s competitive position as the employer of choice for top talent
  • Collaborate with recruitment marketing teams to develop creative ways to communicate Deloitte’s distinctive employer value proposition to targeted diverse talent communities
  • Lead, coach and develop the centralized DE&I Talent Acquisition team
  • Develop external partnerships to promote Deloitte’s employer brand and identify additional talent communities
  • Engage stakeholders across Deloitte, with skills in effective communication, persuasion, and influence; Working collaboratively with colleagues in a highly supportive environment; Modelling inclusive leadership and ally ship in action and communication
  • Lead and contribute to special projects and work groups to drive Deloitte’s DE&I and Talent aspirations

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant work experience
  • Functional expertise in Talent Acquisition and leading large processes, programs or teams
  • Expertise and demonstrated impact in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Talent Acquisition
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products: PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and lead change initiatives

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; Ability to balance qualitative and big picture impact alongside quantitative analysis

  • Strong organizational and process management skills; Comfort managing multiple workstreams and prioritizing within a fast-paced, dynamic, high-growth environment

  • Experience engaging and partnering with senior executives; Comfort engaging with multiple stakeholders across a matrixed organization

  • Outstanding written and verbal communications, including developing effective presentation materials, influence, and persuasion

  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing team members

  • Experience with DEI best practices and demonstrated cultural/identity adeptness
