Are you an experienced, passionate pioneer in technology? An industry solutions professional who wants to work in a collaborative environment. As an experienced Performance Test Engineer you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. If so, consider an opportunity with Deloitte under our Project Delivery Talent Model. Work you’ll do/Responsibilities  

Deloitte is a key partner with the 2nd largest cable company in the US and is actively expanding its presence in the Technology Services division. As part of this expansion, we are seeking to hire a Performance Test Engineer who will have the opportunity to work on Non-Functional requirements and develop performance test scripts using tools like Load Runner and Performance Centre.

  • Work with the Product teams to gather requirements and create non-Functional requirements.
  • Develop e2e automated performance test scripts using LoadRunner tool and execution of the same in Performance Centre.
  • Develop e2e UI Performance Test scripts using Xamarin UI Tests/ Appium and execution of the same on App Centre / physical devices.
  • Monitor systems utilizations/ App crash rate using Kibana, Splunk, App Centre and Datadog.
  • Document results, create analysis report and provide recommendations for Performance Enhancement/ bottle neck remediation.
  • Create/ follow up on Performance Defects and Escalate issues/ risks to project management as needed. 

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge about Performance Testing lifecycle and best practices.
  • Work with the Product teams to gather requirements and create non-Functional requirements.
  • Knowledge of Testing Xamarin Mobile Apps (iOS and Android) on Simulator/ Emulator and physical devices.
  • Develop e2e automated performance test scripts using LoadRunner tool and execution of the same in Performance Centre.
  • Develop e2e UI Performance Test scripts using Xamarin UI Tests/ Appium and execution of the same on App centre/ physical devices.
  • Knowledge to build, schedule CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge about version control.
  • Monitor systems utilizations/ App crash rate using Kibana, Splunk, App Centre and Datadog.
  • Document results, create analysis report and provide recommendations for Performance Enhancement/ bottle neck remediation.
  • Create/ follow up on Performance Defects and Escalate issues/ risks to project management as needed.
  • Hands on Experience on JIRA/ HP ALM/ Test Rail/ Confluence/ Chalk.
  • Hands-on Experience on tools such as Postman/ Charles Proxy/ Fiddler/ Visual Studio/ Xamarin / Apple XCode/ Android Studio.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Travel up to 10% annually
  • Role will sit on site in Denver Colorado

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $83,000 to $134,000. For AIP-Eligible roles include: You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
