The GPS Digital Customer offering helps public sector and higher education clients transform their businesses and customer interactions through innovative digital experiences. We work with our clients to create, design and deploy digital products that increase adoption and drive measurable results.
Qualifications Required:
- Active Salesforce Advanced Developer or Platform Developer (II)
certification
- Demonstrated experience practicing Agile development methodologies
- Demonstrated experience utilizing source control on a Salesforce project
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce administration and
development; security, standard objects, reports/dashboards, Chatter,
Knowledge, Communities, Chat, data management and sandbox
environments
- Demonstrated experience with advanced Salesforce.com development
tools and techniques, e.g. Apex language, Force.com custom development,
triggers, controllers, JavaScript, Force.com SOAP and REST APIs,
JSON, sObjects, SOQL, SOSL, Chatter API, UI API, outbound messaging,
Lightning Components and Visualforce pages
- Demonstrated experience using Salesforce's standard development
tooling, including the Salesforce CLI, Data Loader, VS Code + Salesforce
Extension Pack
- Demonstrated experience with Section 508 accessibility requirements and
experience developing and testing conformant interfaces
- Demonstrated experience with newer Salesforce features including
Lightning Web Components
Preferred Education and Experience:
- BS/BA in related field (Business Management, Computer Science, or
Software Engineering preferred)
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience in a developer role on one or
more Salesforce implementations
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience as lead developer on one or more
Salesforce implementations `
- Active Salesforce Advanced Developer or Platform Developer (II)
certification
- Salesforce Platform App Builder certification
- Has training/certification in Agile methods
- Demonstrated experience in seeking and locating information across the
industry to understand new and related Salesforce.com technologies, including
AppExchange and partner products
- Demonstrated experience with ETL tools, such as Sesame Relational
Junction, MuleSoft or Informatica Cloud, as well as web-service integration to
and from Salesforce.com
- Demonstrated experience with developing and maintaining Salesforce
integrations such as with API Management tools (e.g., MuleSoft), Salesforce
Canvas, Connected Apps, outbound messaging, Salesforce Events, and Apex
callouts
- Demonstrated experience with automated testing development including
browser-based testing using Selenium or selenium-based tools such as Provar
- Demonstrated experience using Salesforce DX and scratch orgs on a
Salesforce implementation project

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,000 to $173,000.
*You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
