Position Summary

Overview:

The Sensing & Analytics team brings forward data-driven insights and market perspectives to inform leadership investment and decisions. This team focuses on strategic programs for US leadership that enables transparency to client and field insights, firm performance and KPIs, and supports key elements of firm strategy.

This role is best suited for a high performing professional who is data-driven, has strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and works well across teams, geographies, and with leadership stakeholders. The role will help to both lead and execute programs across the Sensing & Analytics portfolio, with an emphasis on drawing insights through data analysis.

This position would get exposure to senior US leadership and teams. They should have the ability to navigate the US firm structure and understand how their work fits into the firm’s larger strategic priorities. They should be comfortable working in a matrix organization, navigating ambiguity, adapting to emerging priorities and self-managing in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities:

As a member of the US Sensing & Analytics team, this role would be responsible for a broad range of activities:

  • Provide advanced analytic, strategic, and PMO support to Sensing & Analytics program leaders.

  • Surface data-driven insights leveraging sensing data and firm systems to deliver leadership-level presentations.

  • Help support a shared service model with USI leverage to better balance work activities. Develop the capabilities and skills of USI team members.

  • Streamline processes, automate, and improve efficiency and consistency in analytical and operational support.

  • Manage, continuously enhance, and distribute recurring reporting; design and execute ad-hoc analysis.

  • Create quality deliverables by establishing structure and content, reviewing the work of self and team to ensure a high standard of accuracy, quality, and timeliness.

  • Work with various areas and teams to share and build upon best practices and provide recommendations to leadership for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Preference for degree and/or experience in analytics related field.
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office suite – Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Proficient with Tableau. Experience with Power BI and/or other data visualization tools is an advantage but not required
  • Prior work experience in a professional services firm preferred; must demonstrate success performing in a large matrixed organization
  • Organized, detailed oriented, with strong critical thinking and analytic skills
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, adapting to emerging priorities and self-managing in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Able to exercise good judgment/decision making when necessary and work with confidential or sensitive information
  • Works both independently and collaboratively with a team to promote an inclusive environment and develop team members
  • Work can be remote with limited travel expectations
  • Limited sponsorship may be available

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $64,935 to $119,580 

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
