 Work you'll do
As a Senior Manager, you will work in a collaborative and diverse team environment providing many opportunities to have an active voice. You will advise clients on their Supply Chain and Operations strategy and work with them to implement next-generation solutions. Deloitte brings world-class supply network capabilities, operational know-how, advanced analytics, and industry-specific hybrid solutions experience to our clients; specializing in: Digital Supply Networks, Internet of Things, Sourcing and Procurement, Manufacturing, Product Development, Dynamic Fulfillment, and Synchronized Planning. 

Illustrative activities include:

• Work directly with clients to understand their Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and related processes, capabilities, and systems
• Lead and assist with Planning & Fulfillment pursuits
• Identify and implement strategic programs for clients’ operations departments, and develop ways to assess, measure, and improve operational performance
• Set engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans, and manage/deliver small to mid-size engagements and/or parts of large engagements including the coordination of activities across and between multiple project workstreams
• Develop advanced analytics and/or cognitive approaches to generate insights and improve supply chain performance
• Contribute to the Firm’s growth and development in a variety of ways including Engagement Management, Relationship Management, Practice Development & Eminence and People Development

Qualifications

Required

• 8+ years of professional experience working in a Supply Chain Management organization
• 8+ years of relevant Supply Chain experience with a focus on Planning, Fulfillment, and Logistics with some  years working in a Consulting environment with sales and delivery responsibilities
• 8+ years of experience with warehouse management technology solutions and/or implementation experience in one of the following: Blue Yonder, Korber (High Jump), Manhattan
• 5+ years of warehouse functional knowledge in: Receiving, Shipping, Order Management, Inventory Management, Labor Standards, and Fulfillment
• Experience with full lifecycle Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) implementations in a complex environment
• Experience working in a Supply Chain Management organization or with a Logistics Service Provider (e.g., 3PL, 4PL)
• Experience with digital transformation business case and executive alignment
• Ability to explain how digital planning, fulfillment, and logistics technology solutions enable the supply chain across the value chain
• Experience leading project teams and working with cross-functional / extended teams in a complex environment
• Experience using analytics and metrics to assess supply chain performance and identify and quantify improvement opportunities
• Sales / Business Development experience including RFP/RFI response, SOW development, solution scoping
• Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to travel up to 50% (While up to 50% travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
• Limited Immigration Sponsorship may be available

Preferred

• Established leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with the ability to exe
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
• Advanced Degree in Supply Chain or Business (MBA) from a top tier program
• Experience working as a Consultant in a consulting firm delivering supply chain services in a client environment 
• Project experiences in one or more of the following industries: Life Sciences, Retail, Consumer Package Goods, Industrial Products, Manufacturing, Semi-conductor
• Multiple project experiences participating in S&OP and/or integrated business planning initiatives for multi-national organizations
