Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH is seeking a Facilities Associate to join our team who will provide facilities-related support for various events such as meetings, off-site events and other departmental requests.
Perform daily site inspections of the facilities and mechanical equipment to ensure proper operation and condition
Perform preventive maintenance to building systems and equipment as assigned and create
Equipment check sheets as requested
Provide a report to the Facilities Engineer/Supervisor notifying any problems found
Perform electrical repairs, such as replacing lamps, ballasts, switches, receptacles, cord caps
Wiring of single and three-phase motors, and installation of circuits
Perform administrative duties which include but are not limited to creating and closing work requests using the Computer Automated Facilities Maintenance program
Provide support to engineering projects and installations
Assist in office furniture reconfigurations, furniture moves, and office moves as requested
Ability to work various hours and respond to after-hours emergency requests
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience: 1-3 years of related experience within a manufacturing/warehouse environment preferred; or
equivalent combination of education and experience
On call 24x7
Will be able to sit, stand, crawl, and climb ladders for extended periods
Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Will be able to work in all-weather environments, indoors, and outdoors
Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work
Compensation: $https://18.00/Hour - $https://26.00/Hour
