Job Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the head of subscriber acquisition, this role is responsible for the performance of Sling’s digital marketing channels: paid search, display and paid social. They manage a large multi-million dollar budget and are responsible for a large portion of Sling’s overall business. They also manage a team of 2-4 direct reports, and have dotted-line management of a team of ~10 very talented individuals. Keys to success in this role are a deep understanding of digital tactics, the ability to see the big picture/think strategically and the ability to lead and coach from both a distance and in one on one settings.
Primary Responsibilities:
Hitting Sling’s goals for both profitability and gross ads in digital channels
Managing an 8-figure marketing budget
Developing processes that turn our digital marketing efforts into a smoothly operating machine
Create testing roadmap for all digital channels that can supply actionable insights to the rest of the business
Develop a clear understanding of the incremental impact of all digital channels to assist the broader marketing department with media mix planning
Manage a large team (~10) of direct and indirect reports
Skills, Experience and Requirements
7+ years experience in digital marketing
4+ years managing and mentoring teams
Experience managing marketing budgets; multiple channels preferred; multiple tactics a must
Deep understanding of marketing attribution and incrementality
Salary Range
Compensation: $100,100.00/Year - $143,000.00/Year
