    OneStream is a multi-dimensional application that enables our organization to create financial and metrics reporting, budgeting, consolidation, forecasting, and allocations across business units

    OneStream is the foundation for all budgeting and financial reporting at DISH. DISH is in a transformational phase as a company and it is exceedingly important that we have a strong financial reporting system to manage the complexity of the constantly evolving enterprise. The Manager of OneStream role reports to the Director of Financial Planning and works closely with the corporate planning and accounting teams to ensure we have the financial and metric reporting necessary to make informed business decisions. With the evolving business, we are constantly adapting the way we view the business. There is also significant untapped opportunity for innovation within the OneStream tool including automated long-term forecasting and interactive dashboard reporting that we hope to leverage for improved forecasting and visibility.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage all aspects of the OneStream system for finance including security and general maintenance and supporting the goals of the financial planning team

    • Collaborate with all levels of management to identify the process improvement and solution development

    • Create and build applications, cubes, dimensions, calculation scripts using vb.net or C# and SQL, data management jobs, workflows, transformation rules

    • Troubleshoot and resolve calculation issues, log errors, consolidation and system issues

    • Build and Modify CubeViews and Dashboards in OneStream

    • Modify and update Financial Model, data management and dashboard extender business rules

    • Conduct “deep dive” analysis of data when anomalies are identified

    • Train new users on how to use OneStream and trouble-shoot user errors

    • Create and update system documentation for DISH application on as needed basis

    • Train, mentor and lead the Business analyst position

    • Identify process improvements throughout the company Finance teams

    • Ensure flexibility and scalability of processes and applications supporting the business segments

    • Create/update and refresh the management reporting structure in the system

    • Identify and implement the new Marketplace solutions to expand the capabilities of the OneStream system

    Skills, Experience and Requirements

    • At least 2 years of experience as an administrator with OneStream XF or Hyperion Planning / Essbase  or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) application within a corporate finance organization 

    • Experience writing and interpreting VB.Net, VBA or C# programming language

    • Required education to be a 4 year bachelor degree in Computer science, Information systems, business administration, economics, finance or related field; master’s degree preferred

    • Experience creating cube views, dashboards and excel XFGetCell and XFSetCell formulas

    • Ability to mentor, lead and train the business analysts

    • Strong problem solving and trouble-shooting skills

    • Ability to understand, analyze and articulate common business concepts

    • Outstanding Microsoft Office/Google Suite skills 

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff from any level of management

    • Experience with collecting, cleaning and the managing of data to meet the company's needs

    • Experience working with and creating data architectures

    • Organized with strong reasoning skills

    • Self-motivated, self-starter, independent thinker with sound decision-making skills

    • Ability to multitask and prioritize across a variety of projects and provide deliverables in timely manner

    • Ability to work cross-functionally

    • Ability to develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy

    • Experience working within a finance organization using strong functional knowledge around financial systems and processes (budgeting, consolidation, forecasting, reporting, financial statements, analytics to achieve results)

    • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques

    • Experience creating excel VBA workbooks

    Salary Range

    Compensation: $115,500.00/Year - $165,000.00/Year

    The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
